New Coaches for both teams since Valencia mailed it in two weeks ago and lost to Rosenborg. Not sure if this will be available for net viewing.

I expect Valencia to win this, and if Valencia draws or loses chances of getting out of the group stage will be very, very slim.

http://www.goal.com/en/Articolo.aspx?ContenutoId=470332 goal.com's preview is pretty good.

Not sure if Villa will be healthy enough to play, but Albiol will surely be back to partner Mister Unpredictable, I. Helguera.

Ooh Albiol is not back. Looks like a 4-4-2 With Morientes and Villa up front. Silva and Joaquin are on the wings while Albelda and Fernandes are in the centre of midfield. Miguel, Caneira, helguera, and Moretti make up the back 4 in front of Hildebrand.

For you Arizmaniacs, sadly, Arizmendi did not make the bench. Mata, Vicente, Sunny, Albiol, Mora, Angulo, and Zigic are the substitutes.

I can't watch this match on the net for free. That stupid UCL player thing doesn't work for me.

Oh, the defending on that corner looked horrible. 0-2 to the bad. I just saw the replay, I'm not watching the match.

It will take a minor miracle for Valencia to get out of the group stage.

This is what happens where there is not any plan. We wasted 42 million euros. Didn't we lose one of the best central defenders in our history? Then why do we spend 25 millions in 2 strikers? Did anybody think that Arizmendi and Zigic could do any better than Villa and Morientes? Didn't we know that we couldn't have 100% confidence in Edu and Baraja as playmakers? Why did we contract a 21 years old boy for being the main man for that position? I like Fernandes, but Valencia is too big for him right now. He needs somebody else to grow with as a player.

Did anybody think that any coach could improve the team with 2 training sessions? What was the hurry to fire Quique now? He shouldn't start the season, but once started wait this 2 important matches, and then, fire him whatever it happens. Soler didn't let Quique to pay for his sins.

We are paying now the stupid decisions of Soler and Miguel Angel Ruiz.

Yes, the squad as it stands is too unbalanced. Helguera is not a replacement for Ayala. He is a replacement for the substitutes bench, if that. There aren't enough defenders and maybe we're a central midfielder short.

Why Zigic and Arizmendi? Neither of these signings made sense to me. I thought a strike force of Villa, Morientes, Silva, Mata and Angulo was enough. And yes, relying on Fernandes alone when Baraja seems completely lost and Edu a match away from calling it a career seems like asking for trouble. I'm of the opinion that you can never have enough good central midfielders, but then again I'd prefer to play with 1 forward and 5 midfielders. Quique thought otherwise, but then again it's hard to even say if Quique did actually think, he seemed more inclined to try and do the same thing and hope that talent alone can win the game. I can't recall many of his substitutions ever turning a match around.

I think this year is showing the strain of Quique's incompetence (let's sign Helguera!) and that his feud with Carboni did more harm than good. I think for Valencia to compete next year they need to sign a few good defenders or promote one from VCF Mestalla, sign two central midfielders (subtract Albelda and Baraja), and ship out two attackers. And maybe sign another back up keeper or recall Butelle.

I wouldn't say that the entire 42 million euros were a waste. Fernandes is a good signing.

by the way, PSV is currently losing 2-0 to Fenerbahçe.
