If we will talk about football, then we can take Zdenek Zeman as a coach(you can remembered him from Lecce few years ago), we will for sure play most attractive football but we will won't win anything, today only defending football is successful(there's few exepctions), from year to year you can saw that from Italians, they very often played very boring football, past years they had few clubs in quarter and semi finals of CL, because they prefer defending football, of course there always have exceptions like Barcelona, Bremen and Arsenal.
So I ask you, will you choose attractions or success, middle table or tropheys? Many presidents of clubs thinks only of this second because money.
If you ask me I choose both, but that is very difficult to find

Fair enough. I respect and agree with most of your opinion.
Still, I think Mourinho's an arrogant bastard.
Getting back to the point of the thread, Chivu may not be that impossible. His contract with AS Roma expires in 2008, so if they see that he won't put pen to paper on a contract extension, he would become available this summer. The only problem is that he would also become available to the really large teams that throw around money like they have their own printing press. This could turn out to be a non-problem if he states that he would only sign for Valencia, which would of course be nice.
