First I'd like to talk about my favorate Spanish band named "MIGALA" located in Madrid, their music can broaden your horizon. Another band is named "BEEF", both of them sing almost in English but some in Spainsh, the first Spanish word I learned is from beef's song name, "comiendo berenjenas", means "eating eggplants" right? I like comiendo berenjenas Are they famous in spain and is there anyone interesting in them?

when you talk about China, what's your first impression of this country?
Great Wall? President Mao? Socialism? ...

I think it has to be a great country to visit, but not so good for living. I don't know too much. Chinese people who live in here don't talk a lot about it. Anyway I wouldn't judge it, it's a really different culture. The only think I don't like, according to the news I read, is the lack of liberty. In Spain we learned to love liberty. We paid a really expensive price for it in the past. We had civil war, we had a dicatorial state...

Actually, when we hear "China" we all think immediately in all kind of cheap products manufactured there in China.

in my own opinion, it depends on people's characters, different people with different habits. When we become more opened, we'll be same as you, choose the same life style with others in the world .

My job is selling those cheap products abroad..

If I have chance I will go to Spain and first step is to Valencia.
The province I located in, SiChuan, is chained with Valencia as friendly provinces, I remembered that in 2002, the Valencia CF visited our hometown and played a match with the local team, fabulously were defeated
But unfortunately I was in college at that time, in another city far away, so I missed that chance to see the players. I don't know when they will come again~~

Hmm on the music, I only know two Spanish bands that I like. Have any of you guys heard of a Basque Ska band called Betagarri and a Madrid Ska band called Ska-P? Apart from those two artists and the occasional song Spanish Sentimentche users sent me I don't know a lot about Spanish music. Does anyone else around here like Punk and Ska music?

I used to like Punk when I was young. I'm not sure if SKA is something like Reggae? Now I always listen the quiet music, indie music and some folk, sadcore, ..... etc.

Well I don't know Migala or Beef, these kind of bands are not so famous here but I like Ska P, it's a good band. My favourite CD of Ska P is his last called "Que corra la voz en el mundo de hoy". This CD has more rock music than Ska music. This is the site band: http://www.ska-p.net

As Abraxas said, when we heard about China, we think in chinese restaurants, stores or shops which are cheap. There are many chineses in Spain. But I also think the population of China, it's too much!! You're 1.000 millions!!

Anyway, on China when I came to New Zealand and saw the percentage of Asian people here I was very suprised. There are far more Asian people here than in South Africa. In South Africa there is an odd Chinese or Japanese person but in general not much. In New Zealand there are so many people from China, Korea, Japan, Malaysia etc its really suprising. Especially considering that this is such a small country only 4m people. Immagrants from Asia and Africans like me are really taking over this country.

Yes, China is interesting country, in Croatia already have many Chinese stores. About music, I don't know any Spanish group, maybe Alejandro Sanz(had song with Shakira) and Las Ketchup(they have been on Eurovision contest) . Of other music I listen mostly electronic music like trance, and house(tech-house sometimes) and pop.Does anybody has been on Ibiza?

I'm joking. I often watch and listen music televisions like MTV, VH1, VIVA, VIVA PLUS... and they very rarely let some Spanish group, almost never, so because that I don't know any Spanish group. But I know Penelope Cruz, is that helping?
