[Marca news] Real Madrid's young player Juan Mata's contract in the white club will expire this summer, till now he has received no renewed one. The player has signed a 4-years contract with Valencia, he will move to the new club at June 30th, after the current season finished. His father has signed an insurance of 6M Euro for him that if he can not play for Valencia because of injury, he will get this money.

It was still like a rumour of Mata's coming but now it's coming true.

A nice piece of news, but I'll reserve any celebration until his signature is confirmed by Valencia in June or July.

Anyway, the first video captures two really nice goals he scored for the Spanish U19s against Turkey in the 2006 U19 UEFA championships in Poland. He scored 3 in that match and scored 4 in total for the whole tournament. The second of the two goals on the video is really, really nice - a lovely piece of skill.

Once he arrives, which number would he wear?

Thank you for your links. I've watched several of his Videos since last year. Very excellent genius. If the compensation (it was said we should pay to madrid) is not so much, I think that's a very good sign.
