Valencia won Fenerbahçe 1-2, goals were scored by Baraja and Regueiro, two wonderful goals. Morientes, Edu and Silva didn't play due to their physical problems. The pre-season is being hard for players and Quique preferred these players don't play this match to risk they get some injury. The turkish team was a serious opponent which is going to play the Champions League Qualifying round and his players have more training than VCF players.

In a stadium where was full of Fenerbahçe fans, The turkish started attacking and Valencia waiting his chance to score the first goal in the match though VCF players showed good tacticals movements to finish Fenerbahçe attack. Alex de Souza scored the goal for turkish, it was a David Navarro mistake since he had to stop him but Alex de Souza arrived ahead Butelle who didn't can do nothing. After five minutes, Baraja decided to shot far the goalkeeper and his shot was the first goal for Valencia.
In the second half, though Fenerbahçe got his chances to score, Regueiro was who scored the second goal and Valencia defended this result until the referee decided to finish the match due to the Fenerbahçe fans invasion on the football ground in the minute 85.
I think the best players was Baraja and Curro Torres. Baraja showed his good physical form and directed Valencia to the victory, Curro Torres seems he's better than past season and It have seen the great goalkeeper which is Butelle, he saved Valencia from two great chances for turkish team in the first half. Navarro got that mistake but he was good in the second half with Albiol. Mista was missing :?
