Great match!! Valencia did an intelligent game. Carlos Aguirre, Osasuna manager, told about the match: "There was a team which won the match and other team which tried to play". I think this VCF seems more the VCF champion than the last season. Cañizares was spectacular yesterday. I hope he will called to play with spanish select, he returns to be the best!! Villa has scored eleven goals in spanish league, he is the best spanish forward. who is fernando torres?? Villa must play the world cup!!

Valencia - Osasuna 2-0

Valencia defeated Osasuna 2-0 at Mestalla stadium to close in on the visitors from Pamplona, who are currently second in the Spanish Liga.

The Valencians took the lead with a goal from Mario Requeiro, just before the half time whistle. Seven minutes into the second half, David Villa doubled the lead. Osasuna could not reply and Valencia maintained the gap, 2-0.

Regueiro came on for the injured Vicente early in the match, and he opened the scoring on the stroke of half time after Mista set him up. A few minutes after the restart David Villa headed a second from Angulo's cross, but the visitors fought back and Cañizares was forced to make several first class saves later on.
