Should be a good match, and if Valencia does win against Atletico it will most likely be THE match where a turning point had been reached for Koeman's brief tenure at the Valencia helm. Valencia has to win this match if it wants to have a realistic chance of making up enough ground to secure that coveted 3rd or 4th spot for a Champions League playoff. This won't be an easy match, but I remain mildly optimistic.

Villa is back from injury while Banega and Caneira have been added to the list of players travelling to Madrid. The list is:

'Keepers: Hildebrand, Mora.

Defenders: Lombán, Helguera, Marchena, Albiol, Caneira, Moretti.

Midfielders: Sunny, Edu, Montoro, Joaquín, Vicente, Mata, Baraja, Ever Banega.

Forwards: Arizmendi, Villa, Silva y Zigic.

I didn't feel like watching a match as much as now in the whole season. We'll see if the improvement of the team is for real or not. It's a great test.

Is it not? did you see the match? Atlético couldn't pass the half pitch in the second half. Hildebrand has been great but a stupid mistake gave the match for them. I really enjoyed watching this match but we are unlucky.

Banega

He has a hard personality. He came to the pitch asking for the ball to everybody. That's weird for a nineteen years old player who is doing his first appearance with a big team as Valencia. Good sensations about him!

He's more than that, he's Banega!
